The unique feature of services provided by DrBot Virtual Health is the use of an advanced robot-based telepresence technology called Beam® giving a clinician or health provider the ability to get a comprehensive 360-degree view of their remote patient’s physical condition in real-time through two wide angle HDR cameras for provider and a high-resolution LCD screen for the patient. The provider simply logs into the Beam® account for their facility on a mobile device, tablet or laptop and beams in to remotely control the robot during a virtual consult. The ability of the robot to move easily in the consult room or patient’s bedside as well as the strong feeling of the provider’s eye-level presence by the patient provides
the patient a secure, reliable and personal consult with their healthcare provider. This offers a much better patient experience and virtual consult than the use of hand-held mobile devices, mobile carts or laptops used for the virtual consultation.
